Berks County ARES/RACES Site

Welcome to my ARES/RACES Web Page!  I'm been involved with Emcomm on and off  for around twenty years now.  I believe that all amateur radio operators should "give back" to their community.  In the past I was EC for Berks County and DEC for the old District II in EPA.  I now still help out as AEC for the Berks County ARES/RACES Group.  My main mission is to establish some WL2K infrastructure here in Berks County.  I  would also like to train some members of the group on how to use and operate a WL2K Station.

I believe training and practice or drills are paramount to providing an efficient back up or secondary communication system.
