GORC Appalachian Trail Lookouts Award
GORC is pleased to offer this award to any amateur radio operator who activates a minimum of ten different AT Lookouts, Fire Towers located on the AT,Shelters, or AT Towns. This award is open to all AT Activators, AT Chasers and SWLers.   After ten activations etc, endorsements will be issued at 25, 50 and finally a GORC AT Century Lookouts Award will be issued for the activation or  working of 100 different lookouts and or shelters.
This award will be issued to AT Chasers and SWLers too!  SWLers Just submit your log containing ten QSOs of AT Lookout Coversations and this award is yours for the taking!

All AT Lookout Chasers must submit a log of AT Lookout Activators worked.

All ATC listed shelters count towards this award. To qualify as a lookout, the lookout should be listed and named on a map. Most AT maps list shelters and lookouts. Towns that the AT runs through count too!

To receive this award, please mail or email your log containg  call, date, time, mode and shelter, lookout, Fire Lookout or AT Town.

This award is numbered and mode endorsements such as SSB, CW, PSK31, RTTY etc will be issued on the certificate.
